Explore the Shops of Princess, celebrate cultures at our Festivals of the World or learn a new talent — the onboard activities will keep you engaged every moment of your cruise vacation. (B,L,D)

DAY 3

MAJESTIC PRINCESS ®, HOBART

Tasmania’s capital has much in common with Sydney. Founded but a few years later, Hobart also owes its origins to the establishment of a penal colony – and its natural setting is just as impressive. Much of the city’s heritage is centred on the historic waterfront. (B,L,D)

Relax in one of the lounges, read a good book or, visit The Hollywood Pool Club. This covered pool offers a Hollywood chic-style environment day and night, year-round, surrounded by comfortable loungers, modern sculptures and topiaries. (B,L,D)

Adelaide is a metropolis of over one million people, boasting wide, tree-lined boulevards, superb Victorian and Edwardian architecture, tranquil parks, world-class shopping, and the highest number of restaurants per capita of any city in Australia. (B,L,D)

Plan your onboard activities for the next two days whilst at sea. Enjoy a musical production, play bingo, dabble in the casino, or perhaps join a cooking demonstration. (B,L,D)

After arriving in Perth, you will be transferred by coach to your hotel where the afternoon and evening are yours to explore the beautiful city of Perth.

ROTTNEST ISLAND

A gem of the west, the rich and varied natural wonders of Rottnest Island offer a breadth of spectacular experiences.

You’ll explore the island’s stunning scenery and get to know its unique wildlife – including those adorable quokkas – enjoy lunch with a million-dollar view at Thomsons Rottnest and relax as you discover the islands history. (B,L)

DAY 13

PERTH TO MARGARET RIVER WINE REGION

Travel the gateway to the Margaret River Region, to view the iconic Busselton Jetty. Stop at one of Margaret River’s oldest breweries for a gourmet platter lunch of local produce, with complimentary beer and cider tastings. Visit an internationally renowned winery to taste some of their best award-winning wines.

Visit Mammoth Cave, a gothic cave with vast chambers that reveal fascinating information on the region’s flora and fauna. Pass through the Boranup Forest of enormous Karri Trees, followed by a stop at Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse. Then we head to the township of Margaret River to your accommodation.

MARGARET RIVER TO PERTH

Enjoy a sleep-in and breakfast before you rejoin your tour and discover how they capture the magic of local ingredients and the passion of their people, to create an exclusive and unforgettable experience. After indulging at all these beautiful stops it’s time for the drive back to Perth stopping for a light dinner along the way. (Dinner at own expense).

LEISURE DAY

Today is yours to explore cosmopolitan Perth at your leisure. Take a walk to the new Elizabeth Quay, cruise the Swan River, stroll Kings Park, or simply relax in the comfort of your accommodation. (B)

PERTH TO PINNACLES

Explore the stunning rock formations of the Pinnacles, the amazing Lancelin Sand Dunes, Yanchep National Park – with its Koala Boardwalk – Enjoy your Lobster and Chips lunch at the famous Lobster Shack in Cervantes.(B,L)

DAY 17

BOARD THE INDIAN PACIFIC IN PERTH

This morning you will be transferred to East Perth Rail Terminal to join the Indian Pacific. Enjoy a pre-dinner drink in the Outback Explorer Lounge with fellow travellers in anticipation of your late-night arrival into the golden Outback

DAY 18

INDIAN PACIFIC, NULLARBOR PLAIN

Wake to a spectacular Nullarbor sunrise. Relax throughout the morning taking in the outback vistas before a regionally inspired menu of modern Australian cuisine and fine wines awaits you for lunch. Today we visit the extraordinary and slightly eerie ghost town of Cook, home to a thriving population of four. (B, L, D)

DAY 19

INDIAN PACIFIC, ADELAIDE AND BROKEN HILL

As the landscape changes again and rich ochre sands make way for forests and farmlands, you will arrive into Adelaide. After a rewarding Off Train Excursion in the South Australian capital, return to the Indian Pacific to continue your journey toward Sydney. Your next stop is Broken Hill where you’ll again have a choice of excursions that showcase the rich mining, artistic and cinematic legacy of this frontier outback town. (B, L, D)

DAY 20

INDIAN PACIFIC, BLUE MOUNTAINS AND SYDNEY

Wake this morning to take in the full spectacle of the Blue Mountains on Sydney’s doorstep.

After your arrival into Katoomba, select from numerous mountain experiences before completing your epic transcontinental crossing at Sydney’s Central Station. (B,L)
