A gem of the west, the rich and varied natural wonders of Rottnest Island offer a breadth of spectacular experiences.
You’ll explore the island’s stunning scenery and get to know its unique wildlife – including those adorable quokkas – enjoy lunch with a million-dollar view at Thomsons Rottnest and relax as you discover the islands history. (B,L)
DAY 13
PERTH TO MARGARET RIVER WINE REGION
Travel the gateway to the Margaret River Region, to view the iconic Busselton Jetty. Stop at one of Margaret River’s oldest breweries for a gourmet platter lunch of local produce, with complimentary beer and cider tastings. Visit an internationally renowned winery to taste some of their best award-winning wines.
Visit Mammoth Cave, a gothic cave with vast chambers that reveal fascinating information on the region’s flora and fauna. Pass through the Boranup Forest of enormous Karri Trees, followed by a stop at Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse. Then we head to the township of Margaret River to your accommodation.

MARGARET RIVER TO PERTH
Enjoy a sleep-in and breakfast before you rejoin your tour and discover how they capture the magic of local ingredients and the passion of their people, to create an exclusive and unforgettable experience. BOARD THE INDIAN PACIFIC IN PERTH
This morning you will be transferred to East Perth Rail Terminal to join the Indian Pacific. Enjoy a pre-dinner drink in the Outback Explorer Lounge with fellow travellers in anticipation of your late-night arrival into the golden Outback

DAY 18
INDIAN PACIFIC, NULLARBOR PLAIN
Wake to a spectacular Nullarbor sunrise. Relax throughout the morning taking in the outback vistas before a regionally inspired menu of modern Australian cuisine and fine wines awaits you for lunch. Today we visit the extraordinary and slightly eerie ghost town of Cook, home to a thriving population of four. (B, L, D)
DAY 19
INDIAN PACIFIC, ADELAIDE AND BROKEN HILL
As the landscape changes again and rich ochre sands make way for forests and farmlands, you will arrive into Adelaide. After a rewarding Off Train Excursion in the South Australian capital, return to the Indian Pacific to continue your journey toward Sydney. Your next stop is Broken Hill where you’ll again have a choice of excursions that showcase the rich mining, artistic and cinematic legacy of this frontier outback town. (B, L, D)

INDIAN PACIFIC, BLUE MOUNTAINS AND SYDNEY
Wake this morning to take in the full spectacle of the Blue Mountains on Sydney’s doorstep.
