DAY 2
LITCHFIELD NATIONAL PARK
Litchfield is considered one of Australia’s most beautiful national parks and today you’ll find out why.Your coach tour takes you down the Stuart Highway to the pretty town of Batchelor, and onward to Litchfield to see the stunning Florence, Tolmer and Wangi waterfalls, giant termite mounds, and all the breathtaking views along the way. DAY 3
DARWIN
Your morning is free to explore the art galleries, water front restaurants and relaxed vibe of Darwin.
This evening, soak up a Darwin sunset while you enjoy a Territory-style buffet dinner featuring local seafood and produce, all while sailing in the comfort of a modern and spacious catamaran. (B,D)
DAY 4
BOARD THE GHAN EXPEDITION IN DARWIN
Settle into the comforts of The Ghan, relax in your cabin or mingle with fellow travellers in the Outback Explorer Lounge. Enjoy lunch ahead of your Off Train Excursion in Katherine. In a region renowned for jaw-dropping natural assets, Katherine boasts one of the Top End’s best – the incredible Nitmiluk Gorge.

DAY 5
THE GHAN EXPEDITION, ALICE SPRINGS
Upon arrival into Alice Springs provides you with a full day to explore the iconic town in the red heart of Australia on one of your included off train excursions. After returning with the group to the train station, you farewell your fellow travellers and will be transferred to your hotel at 4pm. This evening is free to relax (B,L)
DAY 6
ALICE SPRINGS
Your morning is at leisure before departing on your afternoon half day tour to see the sights of ‘The Alice’. Visit the School of the Air, stop at the TelegraphStation and visit the Royal Flying Doctors Service. There’s also a stop at theAlice Springs Reptile Centre, where you can get up close and touch some of the lizards and snakes of Central Australia. The tour concludes with a panoramic view of the township from the top of ANZAC Hill. (B,L)
DAY 7
LEISURE DAY
Today is free for you to explore the Alice at your own pace. (B)

Travelling by bicycle, you will immerse yourself in all the diversity that Alice Springs has to offer. Enjoy a picturesque 3km bike ride alongside the dry Todd River bed into the NationalPark. On this route you’ll experience the unique terrain of this classic outback town. Upon arrival of your first destination, you will learn about the original town settlement at the Alice Springs Telegraph Station. Here, you can enjoy a complimentary NT roasted barista coffee and cake from the Trail StationCafe. Next, your guide will lead you to a local art gallery, where original and contemporary Indigenous artworks are showcased. Regularly, Indigenous artists are painting in residence.
DAY 8
ALICE SPRINGS, GHAN EXPEDITION
Enjoy a leisurely morning, checking out after breakfast. You have some free time to explore Alice Springs before returning to your hotel to meet your 2.30pm transfer to the train station.
Check in, settle into your cabin and prepare to departure with your new travelling companions to your evening dinner function, where you’ll dine under a million stars! (B,D)

THE GHAN EXPEDITION, COOBER PEDY
When you next disembark in remote Manguri, you’ll enjoy a full day exploring the amazing opal mining township of Coober Pedy. (B,L,D)
DAY 10

After completing the famous north-south crossing of the interior you will arrive into Adelaide. (B)
