GOLD SUITE

Similarly appointed to Gold Twin Cabins, the Gold Suite provides more space with a 3/4 size double bed, a bunk bed, and a private ensuite. The Gold Suite is also fitted with a table and two arm chairs, a TV and DVD player and the entire Suite is graced with grand views from its two windows. As it is a part of our Gold Service offering, it of course includes a range of exciting Off Train Experiences as well as all-inclusive beverages, and dining in the Queen Adelaide Restaurant.

There are a very limited number of Gold Suites available (two or three per train) if you wish to consider this cabin type you need to book well in advance.

A Gold Suite has a capacity of two adults and one infant or child (0-15 years).

Cabin Inclusions:

A ¾ size double bed ( 190cm x 100cm) and additional fold down upper berth (180cm x 77cm). (Note - weight limit of 110kg on the top bunk)

Queen Adelaide Restaurant and Outback Explorer Lounge

Pre-dinner, after a meal, during the day or night and even late into the evening, the Outback Explorer Lounge is the social hub of the train. Catering to Gold Service travellers, it’s where old friends and new acquaintances can gather for a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and conversation.

The Queen Adelaide Restaurant is a delightful and charming dining carriage, where you will enjoy sumptuous meals while spectacular scenery sweeps past your window. Whether you’re in the restaurant or lounge, our friendly staff are always on hand to look after your every need and help you select from a wide range of wines, beer, spirits and cocktails, as well as, non-alcoholic drinks.

Luggage allowance:

Checked Luggage - 60kg luggage allowance per guest (2 x 30kg each). Cabin Luggage - One piece of hand luggage plus a garment bag, cabin bag or briefcase per person.
