Day 1

(Thursday and Sunday)
Alice Springs

This afternoon make your way to the Alice Springs Rail Station to check in for your journey aboard The Ghan Expedition.
Check in will occur between 3.30pm and 4.00pm. Board the train and place your carry-on luggage in your cabin before transferring to the historic Outback Telegraph Station to join your fellow guests for a spectacular dinner under a blanket of stars at the historic Alice Springs Telegraph Station. Return to The Ghan Expedition to commence your journey south.

Day 2

(Friday and Monday)
Coober Pedy

Breakfast is served as we arrive into Manguri where we disembark and travel by
air-conditioned coach to enjoy a full day of touring in and around the truly unique, underground opal mining township of Coober Pedy where more than half of the residents live underground. Venture into the tunnels and caves of this underground
town, where you may even catch opal fever as you mine for riches, visit the other worldly underground Serbian Orthodox church and take a glimpse of Umoona Opal Mine.

Below the earth's surface, you'll enjoy a gourmet lunch in the most unique of locations before setting off to the stunning outback moonscape that is the Breakaways.

Dinner is served back on board with plenty of time to ease into a slower gear and prepare yourself for your final evening onboard The Ghan.

Day 3

(Saturday and Tuesday) Adelaide

Looking out of your window this morning you'll notice a dramatic change in landscape as the rich ochre tones of the outback make way for the beautiful green fields and pastoral lands of South Australia.

After breakfast you'll have time to reflect on your journey before The Ghan rolls into Adelaide.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
