An early evening departure from the Alice Springs terminal and it is time to enjoy fine, modern Australian cuisine, accompanied by equally fine wine for dinner. And of course, it is also an opportunity, before and after dining, to socialise with your fellow travellers.
Morning breaks and you awake in the tropical north where you are served a refreshing yet hearty breakfast in preparation for the adventures that lay ahead. We stop at the famous Top End town of Katherine where you can enjoy one of a number of Off Train Excursions that take in the Indigenous and early settler history as well as the awesome natural beauty of the area.
Once back on board, there will be, no doubt, more sharing of your experiences with new and old friends alike before lunch is served and we make our way through lush, green tropics and arrive at the terminal in Darwin in the early evening.
