A mid-morning departure begins as we pull away from Darwin and glide through the tropical north. Soon after departure lunch is served and you can enjoy a fine wine while enjoying the spectacular views before arriving at Katherine, where a number of Off Train Excursions are available to you. You return to the train by early evening where you can freshen up before dinner and share your experiences with fellow diners.
After your first night’s sleep, awake in the nation’s geographic and spiritual
heart, the Red Centre, before arriving at Alice Springs where again, a number of Off Train Excursion options await. Return to the train for lunch and a journey through some of the world’s most awe-inspiring landscape. Dinner on the train is followed by an extraordinary night time experience in the outback where you will be able to view the Milky Way like you have never viewed it before. Simply breathtaking.
In the morning you are greeted with breakfast and views of the dramatic and ancient Flinders Ranges, before passing through the Mid-North for a late morning arrival in Adelaide.
