What better way to enjoy the Repco Bathurst 1000 than to travel on the Aurora Australis train to the Great Race! Travel on the 1960’s ex-Southern Aurora train for the most convenient and stylish way to enjoy Australia’s greatest touring car race. Enjoy the convenience of staying onboard the train on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Buses will take you to and from the circuit from the nearby Bathurst Railway Station.

Day 1

DEPART SYDNEY

Your Bathurst Race'N Rail adventure starts at Sydney's Central Station where you will check in and be greeted with a welcome drink. Please note your departure time of 8.00pm is approximate and accurate timings will be advised closer to travel.

Once onboard the Aurora Australis, settle into your cabin and meet your Hospitality Attendant, who will help you get acquainted with life on the train. As evening falls, make your way to the lounge to enjoy a nightcap with fellow guests as the journey gets underway.

Day 2

QUALIFYING

Enjoy breakfast on board before transferring by private coach to Mount Panorama for your first day at the Repco Bathurst 1000.

Take your seat in the reserved grandstand and soak up the electric atmosphere as engines roar to life and the competition intensifies. Today’s sessions set the pace for the weekend ahead, with drivers pushing hard to secure their positions.

Today, guests will also enjoy an exclusive photo opportunity with the Repco Bathurst 1000 trophy, along with a chance to explore the paddock further.

After an action-packed day at the circuit, return to the train by coach and enjoy a relaxed dinner on board. (B, D)

Day 3

TOP TEN SHOOTOUT

After breakfast on board, return to Mount Panorama for another thrilling day trackside. Watch the field tighten as race weekend momentum builds, all from the comfort of your reserved grandstand seat.

Make the most of your paddock pass before returning to the train by coach for a carefully curated dinner on board. (B, D)

Day 4

REPCO BATHURST 1000 RACEDAY

Wake to breakfast on board before heading back to Mount Panorama for the main event.

Race day brings unmatched energy as the Repco Bathurst 1000 unfolds, with every lap building anticipation toward the final result. From your grandstand seat, enjoy each twist and turn on the track as excitement builds, leaving you on the edge of your seat.

Join the celebrations once the winner is finally crowned and when the dust has settled, return to the train by coach for your final dinner onboard. (B, D)

Day 5

RETURN TO SYDNEY

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast as the train travels east towards Sydney. Spend the morning in the lounge with live music and newfound friends, reflecting on the highlights, heroes and unforgettable moments of the weekend.

Your Bathurst Race ’N Rail adventure concludes on arrival into Sydney. (B)
